the monthly series of smallforms seeks to support contemporary and experimental forms of music which require an attitude of listening. in collaboration with the artspace Chateau Rouge run by performer and artist Elisabeth Bakambamba Tambwe.

Düstere Ambientscapes, krachige Noisewelten. Die Wienerin KATRIN EULLER filtert als RENT störrische analoge Klänge aus ihrem Synthesizer und lässt diese mit verzerrten Stimmen und digitalen Artefakten kollidieren. Das Ergebnis sind dunkel eingefärbte Klangumgebungen, bei denen die körperliche Erfahrung im Vordergrund steht (Shilla Strelka).
Rent focuses on experimental, analog sounds combined with stock voices and dark, glitched ambiences. Harsh machines and digital remnants work together to create strongly processed sounds that relate to bodily experiences as well as to digital dissociations.

smallforms is a platform and music label for contemporary and experimental forms of music which require an attitude of listening. the monthly series consists of recording sessions in the afternoon and concert/live set in the evening – joining forces with electronic allies, spoken word, spinning tunes or sweet stuff of pop culture that may lead to the underworld (or hell).
